TUESDAY, APRIL 03rd, 2007

JUST TO LET YOU ALL KNOW, Moroccan Roll isn't dead, it's just resting. Jeff Martin has put down the Les Paul and has picked up the True Vintage for his current run in Europe. It's been awhile since he has set foot in Canada; he has moved to Ireland, and just recently Jeff has been signed in Europe to release an acoustic version of his first solo record "Exile and the Kingdom". "Exile and the Kingdom" was released in Canada and Austrailia early in 2006. However heavy drum tracks courtesy of one Michael Lee (of Page and Plant fame), and rockin' guitar riffs from your man Mr. Martin drowned out the eclectic world music flavour Jeff was going for. This new "Exile" release has been stripped down to acoustic riffs with emotive tabla tracks put down by renown tablaist Ritesh Das of the Toronto Tabla Ensemble.

Recently, our technicians at SpineSound introduced Jeff to our new SSx Series amplifiers. Blown away with its diverse capabilities, Mr. Martin has picked up our small but powerful SSx 1260 combo amp to accompany him on his current European tour.
